Besides being completely befuddled seeing pumpkins and cider in the stores--when it's so warm and sunny outside--I am enjoying my time in California. It's a great privilege to be here.
The Bethesda Healing Prayer Ministry will be holding a Walk-in Healing Prayer Clinic on Saturday, October 16, 2010 here at Wellspring. This is for the purpose of praying for physical healing in relatively short (30 min) prayer sessions. Each individual who comes for prayer will be prayed for by a team of 2 prayer ministers. We pray for folks on a first come--first served basis. Sign-in starts at 9:30 am and ends at 11:30 am. Prayer sessions begin at 10 am. Be prepared to wait
One of the things that can feed our joy is to hear about, read about, and celebrate what God is doing. Nothing brings our joy level down quicker than to concentrate on what God is not doing or what He hasn't done yet. (and sometimes, we just aren't aware of what He's doing behind the scenes--so can we ever really say what He's doing or not doing at all times?)
It wasn't long after the laughing joyful dream, that Rick and I were out at Bethel Church in Redding, Calif. for our annual attendance at the Leadership Advance meetings. It's always a wonderful time that we look forward to all year long, but the content and what the Holy Spirit does during those meetings is different from year to year. I had no expectations of what would be done or what I'd come away with, but I was expecting good things.

In my dream, I was laughing and floating on the ceiling of the room I was in....just like Uncle Albert in the movie "Mary Poppins." We will not hold the Walk-in Healing Prayer Clinics during the summer months of June, July and August. We plan to resume the Walk-in Clinics in the fall. Check back here for an announcement about that later on. Remember the Walk-in Clinics are for the purpose of healing of physical problems. We do not have the time in that setting to deal with emotional or spiritual issues. If you are experiencing emotional pain or spiritual dis-ease, please call for an appointment.
