Acts 2 Ministry - Updated Shopping List

The Acts 2 Ministry is a provision created by the church, as is indicated in Acts 2:44-45; “All the believers were together and had everything in common.  … to give to anyone who had need.”

The Acts 2 food pantry is open and available to Wellspring and the community beyond our walls. If you know someone who could use our help, whether a friend, neighbor, or family member, please encourage them to contact us. Help us to help others in need. 
 

To access assistance, please leave a message on the Acts 2 voicemail: 860-225-0661 x 113. The message provides all your instructions: “Thank you for contacting Acts 2. We are blessed to be able to help provide you or a loved one with food at this time. After the tone, please leave your name, the number of the family members and any special dietary needs. Sunday morning, there will be a bag left in the loft under the coat racks, with your first name. You may pick up at your convenience during the week. If you would like to come in to the church and shop for yourself, please call and leave a message to arrange a time. Thank you and may God bless you, abundantly.”

If you are interested in donating to the Acts 2 pantry, feel free to drop off donations in the chest located under the coat rack in the loft whenever the church is open. We also have set collection times before and after each worship service on the second Sunday of each month. Check out the Welcome Center or bulletin board to see which items are being requested. 
 

Additionally, there is a “Coupon Put and Take” available Sunday mornings in the loft. Feel free to help yourself to any coupon you may need. The coupons are reviewed often for expiration dates and we are always accepting more. Feel free to drop off any coupons that you are not using to bless others in need.

Don't have time to shop?  Monetary donations are graciously accepted. "Box Tops for Education" labels for Lincoln School are being collected at Acts 2 table and Welcome Center.
