On New Year's Day, our team is leaving for Uganda

to be with Kampala Children's Centre. This trip has been a long time coming, and we will kiss the ground when we finally arrive! The postponement of the trip has felt like a pruning in many ways. And in this time of waiting we have asked the Lord to show us how to further prepare for the trip, as we were all set to go.
We sensed the Lord leading us to pray into the inner healing for the children and teens, specifically for the trauma they have experienced with the loss of their families through war and disease. Our team learned that trauma actually stops brain development, and that one of the things that can reverse the damage is healthy relationships.
We are bringing a teaching about encouragement as well as tools for inner healing. We are praying for open doors in our time of ministering. Would you also consider partnering with us in prayer?
Team trip date: January 1-14, 2012
During the second week, six of our team members will be traveling to Rwanda for a time of ministry.
Pastor Wesley and Pam Zinn will be in Uganda Jan. 7-23 to lead a Pastor's Conference and other ministry. Please pray for God's power and presence to be poured out.
Here is a
recent video from KCC about their rescue and adoption of an abandoned baby they named John Mark.
