Wellspring of Hope Mentoring :
This program is an outreach focused on the children of New Britain.
We are currently partnering with Lincoln School, working with 1st-3rd grade students.
Our program is structured with a framework of support. This support includes a Program Coordinator, Staff Coordinator, Facilitators for training and a Mentor Liaison. The school Social Worker and Administration work alongside us to create ease and proper direction.
Each mentor meets during the school day with the same child once a week

for an hour throughout the school year. We provide basic tutoring assistance and a positive adult role model who cares about them and desires the best for them. There is room for as many Tutors/Mentors as are willing to serve.
Wellspring provides the training and background clearance in a simple seminar format through the Governor's Prevention Partnership. This three hour class is held here at Wellspring and is required before becoming a mentor. Mentors are then matched up with a student for the school year.
