Overview:
It is a privilege to join you in the spiritual development of your children. We are excited to be a part of what God is doing here at Wellspring with adults and children alike. It is His desire that we be connected to Him, and it is our desire to assist your children in building this most important connection. In all classes freedom of expression of Worship is encouraged. Children experience the Lord as they learn about, listen to, and respond to God in an atmosphere appropriate to their age. In classes for Pre-K and older, we encourage the children to do some activities at home (with parents as necessary) during the week. Details and reminders are listed under each class heading.
Procedural Reminders:
As our time is so short with the children on Sunday, we ask that you help them to come prepared by remembering the following procedures:
Sign in:
All children are signed in on Sunday morning for their protection. Please arrive 15 minutes early so the sign in process can be quick and smooth. We also ask that before you sign in you take your child to the bathroom and get a drink if necessary, so that they are ready for the morning’s activities in the classroom.
Note to Parents of youngsters:
We know that occasionally, younger children have a hard time being separated from Mom and Dad. We have found that consistency and persistence in attendance at class have overcome most difficulties. If necessary, we have brochures available at the classrooms for parents of those children who have difficulty with separation anxiety. It is our goal to make this transition a successful one for your child.
Tithing:
We teach on tithing in our classes for Pre-K through 6th grade. In relation to that, we take a collection each week. We encourage you to talk with your child about giving a tenth of what they have been given by the Lord back to the Lord. Our tithes go to support Rich Luzietti with Straight Ahead Ministries, Ana at Prince of Peace Home in Guatemala, and Enoch in Wakiso, Uganda. At times we have special offerings in each classroom.Contact Us
