Last year children arrived early for the
Christmas Eve service, but they will not need to come early this year as they will sit with their families for the Christmas Eve (5 p.m.) and Christmas Day (11 a.m.) services.
During each of the services, children ages 4-12 will join the adult choir on stage for two songs and listen to a Christmas story.
Eighty-two people have signed up to attend this Sunday's Christmas Family Workshop and Lunch
from 1:00-3:30 p.m. in The Space. Families will decorate cookies and make Christmas ornaments.
This Saturday's Child Care Meeting
is cancelled due to the majority of people who will not be able to attend. Although the Annual Meeting was held this past February; it was scheduled again this year for the new child care workers who recently joined the team.
Four times a year, children in the Go Fish and The Rock classes attend adult church service with their family to observe or participate in communion, something families can discuss with their children.
It seems as though we were just planning for the Summer Fun Day, and here we are ready to Kick Off into a new school year!
Wellspring Kids advance to the next grade/class on Kick Off Sunday, Sept. 11. We will have a celebration for Kids ages 4-12 that will include a special presentation, games and snack. Drop off and pick up locations in child’s classroom for the new school year.
Check out Wellspring Kids' Art Work this Sunday as they Chalk the Walk outside the Church entrance (during both services). Children (ages 4-12) will be expressing their love for God or God's love for them.
Kids should dress in comfortable play clothes. Please have your child bring sunscreen. We will be providing water and an ice pop for each child. Children can bring their own water bottle or drink and snack.
