Discovering God’s Place For Me

You are a special person created and wired by God with particular gifts, talents and motivations, as well as a distinctive personality. You have a unique blend of capabilities enabling you to do some things effectively and with joy. This can point you toward God’s will for your life and the part you should play in the Body of Christ (see Romans 12:1-8). 

Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him. (Psalms 25:12).

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. (Ephesians 4:16).

Here at Wellspring Church, we encourage everyone to complete a one-time Finding My Fit one-to-one appointment with a pastor or lay leader trained help you get plugged in as you are ready.

Why Do It?  The Finding My Fit appointment will:

1. Give you an opportunity to get to know a leader at Wellspring, who can listen to your concerns and dreams and help you know where to connect.
2. Narrow down some of the many choices for serving, so that you will know where to start when you are ready
3. Help leaders in the Body to know what your particular interests and needs are, so that we can invite you to participate in future opportunities to serve Christ

How To Proceed:

1. Email or call the church office, or speak to Dave Owen, Pastor of Connections, to schedule an appointment
2. Fill out the Finding My Fit questionnaire, which is available at the Welcome Center, or can be emailed to you

What We Cover:

1. Your natural talents and skills, everything from crafts to music to….
2. Your past experience – what you’ve already done to serve God and occupationally
3. Your personal tendencies – the way you are naturally wired
4. Your passion – how would you serve God if time or money were no object
5. Your spiritual gifts, special abilities God gives you after welcoming Christ into your life.
