Life+Groups Blog

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25

LifeGroups are small groups of people who do life together by encouraging each other, praying for each other, studying the Word together, and having fun with each other. They meet on a regular basis and take on a variety of forms such as: Bible studies, book studies, family groups, men’s groups, women’s groups, young women’s groups, prayer groups, home school groups, etc.

Wellspring life groups are not designed around the studies they do, but the relationships they develop.  As the corporate body of Wellspring continues to grow, the communities within our Body increase in importance.  Life Groups at Wellspring center on the passions and strengths of those who attend and facilitate the groups.  Our goal is to see each life group bring increase to the individuals that attend, and see that increase enhance the greater Body of Wellspring.

Our life groups are encouraged and supported by the staff of Wellspring church and each other. We offer accountability and encouragement as well as opportunity for additional training for those who facilitate or host a life group. Our life groups often take on service opportunities, ministry of prayer, and/or topical or Bible studies. In essence they take on a life of their own ultimately encouraging growth in each individual’s walk with God, and deepening relational connection with those around them.  Want to join us?

New Life Group: Single Womens Study

I’ve read many of the Christian singleness books out there—and sought for some time something that cut through the platitudes and well wishes. Recently, I heard a radio interview with the author of this book—and was astonished by a very different message.

New LifeGroup Forming: Irresistible Revolution

This study coincides perfectly with the "radical" preaching series that is taking place during October and November. Those who join this group will be challenged in many areas as the concepts of culture, social justice, and true discipleship interact with each other. If you have been looking for an opportunity to dialogue about "issues" of the day and how we should be affecting them with the love of God, this is an excellent place to start.

A New Life Group Opportunity

For those who have a passion to pray for our nation, we now have a life group that will center on that call. Linda, as explained in the following article, is following through on a call of God. We look forward to not only what this Life Group will do for each other, but the things it will do for our nation. Please consider this opportunity:

Lifegroups Enrichment: Group Development

Periodically a group needs to provide itself collective feedback from it's members to take an honest snapshot at where they are right now, where they have come from, and where they should be going and growing as a group.
