Membership

"Membership" to a local church may be misleading. We tend to see it as signing on to an organization. We may even view is as a way to have rights or privileges. However, a commitment to a loving, living and infinite God and to His church has to mean more than that. At Wellspring, we view membership as: A commitment to the community and the cause of Christ with open hands. Yes, we are making a commitment to the local church, but our motivation is a giving of ourselves to the transforming move of God that exploded on the scene 2000 years ago, and continues to this day as a growing wave of His love and power.  And we are saying that Wellspring will be the part of the Body where we are making that commitment. 

Interested in becoming a Member at Wellspring?  

Heres how: 

1. Register on-line here for the membership class (this happens a few times a year)
2. Complete the Interest Survey at www.wellspring.net/interest
3. Attend the 'Membership Class'
4. Meet with an Elder (this will be arranged for you at the Membership Class)
5. The Elder Board will then vote in the new members.

Other Membership Requirements:

Baptism:
A requirement for membership is a believer's baptism (not infant baptism). Baptism is a celebration of new life! If you have not been baptized and would like to be, please proceed with the Baptism Class (or contact the office). If you have already been baptized, we do not re-baptize. 

During the baptism preparation class, two of our elders will share with you about baptism and any other information you need to know for your baptism.
