Women of Wellspring

Read Women of Wellspring News and Updates Here

W.O.W. stands for Women of Wellspring.  The W.O.W. committee encourages Faith, Fun and Fellowship for all women who wish to participate.  We try to listen to the heartbeat of Wellspring women and provide activities to grow the three F's.  We also try to imagine what would attract women within our community as well as women ouside the walls of Wellspring.  We pray for wisdom, inspiration and direction as we plan.  We experience faith, great fun and fantastic fellowship and we want you to be part of that with us.  Some activities change and some have become traditions, however all are meant to be welcoming and all try to encourage us as sisters, young and old, in the Lord Jesus Christ.

You can involve yourself in one specific event, get involved in every event, or integrate yourself into a weekly connection through Bible study, prayer, or friendship.

Traditional activities are the Christmas Tea in December, a Chocolate event in February, and a Mother/Daughter banquet in May. An all day retreat as well as a weekend retreat are also part of the year's events. The dates may change yearly, however, they are announced on the web.

Other activities are offered on request or because of special interest.  Examples of these are:  Knitting instructions and groups; bread making instructions, spa and pampering day, and craft activity day.  Occasionally special programs of music and humor are offered.  If you would like to serve on a committee or have questions about events, please contact Grace Visockis at 860-666-0837 or Pastor Bob Switzer at 860-225-0661.
