God is a generous God.
We are made in his image and his desire is that we too would be people who live with hearts of gratitude and generosity. We believe that God is more than capable to meet all our needs. When we give, we open a channel of God's blessings to flow through us into the world he loves and desires to bless. We do not give in order to earn God's favor. He already loves us unconditionally. Rather we worship God by coming into agreement with his desire to bless others. We worship God by being grateful for what we have and declaring to him (through the humble act of giving) that we place our trust in him to meet our needs.
"This service that you perform [of giving financially] is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God."- II Corinthians 9:12
Giving is not a duty, a fee, or a formula. It is a posture of our hearts. We humble ourselves before our God; we say thank you for loving and caring for me by meeting my needs; and we say we are joining with your desire to bless the world around us. Gratitude, generosity, and willing hearts open a flow of God's Kingdom provision and blessing to others through us. And may God be glorified.
