WOW is an acronym for Women of Wellspring. Last weekend we were able to present our ministry in the cafe area. What we were not able to say is how grateful we are as a committee to serve the women of our church body. Who are the Women of Wellspring? Well, one day while meditating on the women of the Bible I found my answer.
I walked into the arena with my best friend Mary and wondered what all of this was going to be like. The place was huge and I thought there was no way this place is going to fill up, even though we were seated in the nose bleed section!
The WOW
women are working on twin bed sized afghans for Sarah's House. There are two beds to a room so the colors have to coordinate but the designs can be unique. If you would like to help please contact Carol Nicholls, 860-478-6377, cjnicholls@juno.com. You don't have to come to the knitting group to be part of this project.
