Coming February 11, Communications Seminar

Wellspring's own Bill Harris is bringing a dynamic and interactive seminar on effective communication, Saturday, February 11.  Hosted by the Wellspring School of Leadership, this seminar will concentrate on two critical areas of communication: how to solicit and grow from feedback, and how to set and manage expectations from your team or family.  Everyone wants to communicate effectively.  We want to be heard.  We also want to be able to hear others accurately.

Peacemakers This Saturday!

This is your last chance to purchase tickets for Saturday's seminar, Blessed Are the Peacemakers: Conflict Resolution for Life and Work, hosted by the Wellspring School of Leadership.  Rev. Dennis Reiter, a longtime friend of Wellspring and a trusted Christian conciliator, will be bringing powerful yet practical instruction on how to resolve conflict in any relationship without dishonoring anyone involved -- a hard, but important lesson!

Audit "Hearing God" Class from the Wellspring School of Leadership

Beginning Tuesday, January 24, the Wellspring School of Leadership is offering its fourth course of the first-year program: Hearing God.  Taught by Kimberly Springman, this intensive course offers the foundations of the personal practice recognizing God's voice, whether through our own thoughts, circumstances, or images in our mind's eye.

WSL Announces Four Leadership Seminars!

This winter and spring The Wellspring School of Leadership is sponsoring four professional level seminars focused on critical issues for effective leadership in the 21st century.  The school's mission is to train men and women for Kingdom-minded leadership in all spheres of society, but that mission certainly isn't limited to just the people who enroll in the program.  These seminars are here for you!

Spiritual Formation - First WSL Class

The first course for the Wellspring School of Leadership, Spiritual Formation, is critically foundational to the Christian journey.  I simply cannot think of a Christian, young or old, who would not benefit greatly from this course.  The good news is, it's available to all.

The Wellspring School of Leadership Concludes Inaugural Year, Looks ahead to Fall 2011

Last night, June 14, the Wellspring School of Leadership wrapped up its last class of its inaugural year.  The students concluded their final first-year course with a project reviewing Wellspring's baptism, membership, and covenant processes.  They also took time to reflect on what WSL has meant to them over the last nine months.  The word, both corporately and individually, is transformation.

Fee Waiver Deadline on WSL Applications - June 15

Several have already begun applying to the Wellspring School of Leadership for study beginning August 30.  Now is the perfect time to submit your application too!  Begin your application today and turn in any portion of it prior to June 15 and there will be no cost to apply.  After June 15, a $35 application fee will be assessed on all applications.

WSL's Seminar on Christian Leadership a Huge Success!

On Thursday, May 12, the Wellspring School of Leadership hosted a Seminar on Christian Leadership. It was a phenomenal event, if I may say so. It was everything I could have hoped for. Those involved did a tremendous job putting it all together.
