Elder
“Hi my name is Amy Harris. 19 years ago my friend Garnette Jones invited me to Kensington Baptist Church, now Wellspring. As soon as I entered the building, I was met by the presence and love of the Lord. I had never felt that before, and I knew that I was home and this was my family. I arrived a very broken young lady, and my heart and spirit were in need of deep healing. Through the sermons, worship, Bethesda ministry, counseling and receiving prayer on Sunday morning- the Lord began to restore my mind, soul, heart and spirit. I learned that I was a child of God and that I have tremendous value and worth, and that I have been given gifts and talents to serve with.
With that, I have served in various ministries over the years such as the nursery, the prophetic ministry-Clear Voice, intercessory prayer, and I have been on the worship team for several years. I also taught prophetic classes and have led a woman’s group. It is an honor and privilege to utilize my gifts and serve on the Elder board, working with the current team and leadership as we seek the Father’s heart and vision for Wellspring.  My passion is to come alongside my brothers and sisters as they learn their true identity as sons and daughters of the King. To step out of brokenness and into health and wholeness- to walk in fullness of what Jesus died for on the cross.”
