Wellspring Kids Ministry 

Wellspring Kids Church Sundays At 10am (Ages 0-12)

God loves Kids, and so do we!  God’s love is the foundation of our identity.  What Kids believe about themselves influences their thoughts and decisions.  We want to help Kids discover and grow in their identity in God, as they learn about Him and experience His love.  Wellspring Kids Ministry focuses on teaching the Bible, prayer, and how to cultivate a relationship with God.  Teaching includes discussion, acting out a story, object lessons, and crafts.  It’s an exciting place for Kids to find a community of friends and connect with God.  

Wellspring Kids Classes

AGES 0-2 :NURSERY

  • Childcare is available the entire service. 
  • Kids ages 0-23 months are in Nursery Room #5.
  • Our nursery has volunteer caregivers who love working with babies.

AGES 2-3: KINGDOM KIDS

  • Childcare is available the entire service.
  • Kids ages 2-3 years old are in Nursery Room #4.
  • Our toddlers learn about God through teaching, worship, and prayer.

AGES 4-5: WELL DIGGERS

  • Class (meets after worship) located downstairs in Room B3.
  • Kids learn spiritual concepts using a play-based model. They learn about, listen to, and respond to God in an atmosphere relevant to a four- and five-year-old.

GRADES 1-4: GO FISH

  • Class (meets after worship) located downstairs in Room B5.
  • Kids connect with God, make friends, and have fun together.  
  • Kids learn the importance of God’s Word, prayer, worship, and listening to God.  

GRADES 5-6: THe Rock

  • Class (meets after worship) located in The Space.
  • Pre-teens learn to build a firm foundation of faith in God through teaching, discussions, activities, prayer, and worship.    

Kids Sunday Morning Check-In

FAMILIES NEED TO CHECK-IN THEIR KIDS BEFORE SERVICE.

Kids’ safety and wellbeing is our top priority.  At Kids Check-In, parents and Kids are given sticker tags with a matching family code.  Each Kid must be registered into our system and wear a tag before they can enter our care.  

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR PARENTS:

  • Please wear your parent sticker tag to prevent it from being lost or stolen. 
    • You will need this sticker tag to pick up your child at the end of service.
    • If you choose to have another family member pick up your child (an older sibling or grandparent), you will need to give them the receipt that you are wearing.
  • If we need to contact parents during the service, your family code (located on your sticker tag) will be displayed on the screen in the sanctuary, with the class location. 
    • Example of family code: 47N (code number) – Kingdom Kids (class)

KIDS CHECK-IN CLOSES AT 10:20AM.

  • If you arrive after 10:20am:
    • FOR AGES 0-3: Please bring your child to Nursery 4 or 5 and check-in your child there.
  • FOR AGES 4-12: Please wait until after worship and walk with your child to their class and check in at their classroom.

Wellspring Kids Drama Club

Who: Kids in 3rd Grade through 7th Grade
When: Tuesday Nights from 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Where: In the Space (At wellspring)

Wellspring Kids Drama Club is a creative community for kids to grow in their friendships, confidence, and imaginations, as we practice different skills related to drama.  Kids have fun with skits, creating dramas for video, choreographed dance, puppetry, improvisation, character development, drama games and much more!  And Kids also use their talents and gifts to minister to other Kids and Adults at Wellspring, and outside of Wellspring!  Kids in 3rd through 7th grade are welcome to join Kids Drama Club.  For more information, contact Jenn@wellspring.net

Serve on the Wellspring Kids Team

KIDS MINISTRY IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET INVOLVED AT WELLSPRING. DO YOU LOVE TO WORK WITH KIDS? ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED CHILDREN’S WORKER?  

With a completed background check and orientation, you could join the 60+ dynamic team of adults and teens who invest in our Kids lives.  Wellspring Kids isn’t simply a Sunday classroom.  Serving on the Wellspring Kids Team can be as simple as helping with check-in, helping with tech, teaching an already-prepared lesson, or helping kids with activities.  Most team members serve approximately once every five weeks.  Some team members are moms and dads, others are grandparents, single adults, and teenagers.  It’s an exciting ministry – and we would love for you  to join the team.
All volunteers are required to complete the following before they can serve:
  • Meet with the Director of Wellspring Kids.
  • Apply to join the Kids Team.
  • State background check. 
  • Three approved reference checks. 
  • Volunteer training on policies and procedures.
